I-Read Quran Centre collects personal information only for the purpose of providing our services. In compliance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA):
What we collect
- For Qurban orders: name, phone, email, country preference, and the intention behind the Qurban (niyyah).
- For Tahfiz pre-registration: student name, date of birth, email, phone, guardian information, previous schooling, and optional notes.
- For general contact: whatever information you voluntarily share by email, WhatsApp, or phone.
How we use it
Your data is used solely to:
- Fulfil your Qurban request and send confirmation and receipts
- Process Tahfiz pre-registrations and respond about enrolment
- Reply to your enquiries
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
Qurban records are retained for 3 years for accounting and reporting purposes. Tahfiz pre-registration data is retained until the relevant enrolment cycle concludes. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us.
Data storage
Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Cloudways, with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Email communications are sent via Elastic Email.
Your rights under PDPA
You may at any time:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (subject to accounting retention requirements)
- Withdraw consent for future communications
